- Sampson - the inn's official greeter

Meet Sampson, Our Official Greeter!
Last, but not least, there is Sampson our Bichon Frise mascot who loves to greet & meet all our guests and make them feel at home. He is photographed a lot by most of our guests. Sampson was born Oct. 6th, 2003 and moved into our Amish Country PA Bed and Breakfast on Dec. 23rd, 2003. Bichons are known for being friendly, gentle little dogs that love company (perfect for an innkeeper!). Sampson can be a quiet little guy and loves to cuddle. On the other hand he loves to bark for attention hoping someone will chase him so he has an excuse to run around in circles, known as the Bichon Blitz.

Sampson has a lovely white coat and does not shed. He looks like a white fluff ball. He is not allowed in the guest rooms but is seen in the common rooms from time to time. After breakfast he loves to come out and say good morning. He is not allowed "treats" from the table, though he may look hungry. When you leave he loves to "sit" and give you his "paw" to shake goodbye — and he might even give you his "other paw"!

Sampson greets the guests
