Doesn't Sampson look cute and innocent?

Sampson was born October 6th, 2003 and moved in here at The King's Cottage on December 23, 2003.

Bichons are known for being friendly, gentle little dogs who love company (perfect for an innkeeper!). Sampson can be a quiet little guy and loves to cuddle with the ladies. On the other hand he loves to bark at the men for attention hoping they will chase him so he has an excuse to run around in circles.

Sampson currently weighs about 15 lbs, and has a lovely white coat and does not shed. He looks like a white fluff ball. He is not allowed in the guest rooms and is seen in the common rooms from time to time. After breakfast he loves to come out and say good morning. He is not allowed treats from the table, though he may look hungry. Once he gets to know you he will "sit" and give you his "paw" to shake -- and then his "other paw"!
